In the plane from Miami to Houston
It's been (already!?) a month that I live in Houston(Woodlands), I'm kind of getting used to my new way of life which is I have to say, very different! How great it is to discover new ways of lives,cultures...Sometimes, it is like being in a movie when I see that the things I used to watch on T.V really happen here!It is just a big pleasant change!

Here is Nadya!!

My first friend here!I like her a lot.
I met her in the airport of Miami (how glad I was, cuz I was a little bit lost lol).I found out that she was also from the Caribbean, Saint Lucia!! So I could practice a little bit my creole in the airport and be less lost by the way....Noooo not really, it was too different! But anyway, we had a lot of fun exchanging new words!
She also lives in Houston TX, close to me but,unfortunately, we don't go to the same school.

It's time to introduce you my host family!

Et voici ma famille d'acceuille!

from left to right: Ashley,my host sister,she will turn 16 in a few days! She helps me a lot to understand all the slangs here!(vocab de jeunes)car il y en a pas mal!
Apres le fameux"Oh my gosh!" l expression la plus courante est "waaw it is so gay!"pour parler de qqch de ringard ou de stupide mais je crois que certains parents n'aiment pas entendre ca de la bouche de leur enfant ce qui est plutot comprehensible...

My host- father Jorge; he went to many places because he is a pilot and so he is away 3days per week.
And my host-mother Silvia, who works as a teacher in a "Faith academy"!

Cette photo a ete prise le lendemain de mon arrivee...Eh oui deja dans l'eau car ici il fait assez chaud et, humide!Un peu comme en Guadeloupe!(C' est bien, au moins, je ne suis pas trop depaisee...lol)

Voici mon frere d'acceuille Andres,age de 21ans. Actuellement il etudie pour devenir pilote,comme mon pere d'acceuille.Il n' habite pas avec nous mais nous faisons souvent des sorties tous ensemble.

My host family is from Guatemala so they often speak Spanish at home,I like it a lot !

I was afraid to go in a place with a lot of buildings,pollutions and stuff...Ouf!The trees hide the buildings!
I think I live in a nice safe place.Here there are many many trees,everything is very green!
